Yeah, I am definitely looking forward to getting my 4k gsk in. According to UPS, it will be here tmr.

xx_cummins_xx, I hear ya man. It just doesn't add up. I'm gonna check my fuel pressure soon, cause if I have low pressure, it doesn't really matter how much I do to the system in the way of tuning and injectors or governor springs. Maybe my truck has a valet switch that I don't know about LOL

there are 160, 175, 180 and 215 pumps. 180 are the most sought after. manual trucks came with bigger pumps. you should have the 180 pump unless its a super early 96 or late 95

I'm assuming my 94 auto came with a 160 pump... right? Although from what I understand, any of the p-pumps have the capability of flowing the kind of fuel I need.

BTW, I stretched my OFV spring today and there was no change in the weird chugging/hesitation from 1000-1300rpm. Anyone have new ideas?

yes you have the 160 pump. it has a poor cam profile for high rpm usage. (this is a guesstimate) but ide say if you much over 600 ponies you would need to look into a bigger pump. you can make lots of power with the little ones but for the big big #'s you will most likely need a larger unit.

I'm shooting for low 400s for now and maybe 525ish once I upgrade the turbo.......so it sounds like the 160 pump will do me just fine as long as it doesn't break or have any issues. I'm starting to think my truck is just destined to be slow cause it is heavy as *****, unless I get crazy into this engine.

4k spring kit just got here from the man in brown......

I will install them this weekend after the family time is over. I can't wait, everyone makes this spring kit sound like it is gonna transform my truck. I hope it does, cause I have been a little disappointed with the gains so far honestly. I figured the truck would be hard to keep in a straight line after the mods I have done so far. LOL
