I just recently finished my auto to manual swap. I have put 300 hundred miles on the truck and no problems. Today i checked under the truck for leaks and saw on between the nv4500 the 4x4 transfercase. Checked the fluid in the transmission and it was full of my transfer case fluid! And the transfer case was alsomt empty. During the swap i tore the transcase down and swapped the 23spline shaft for the 29 spline, Put new seals in,new pump,and filter and assembled. I have seen a transmission fill a transfercase up with its oil but never seen a transfercase fill the the trans up. im thinking the seals are messed up but could it be something with the new pump in the transcase? The trans is a reman. Any help? thanks for any input.
