nope, the clicks just help fine tune the idle. you can tighten them down some and may get a couple hundred RPM... but nowhere near 1000 or so.... the clicks just preload the springs, when changing the springs actually changes the entire compression of the spring pack throughout the rpm band.

my springs were probable 1/2 inch taller than stock and barrel shaped as you mentioned. like Benjamin stated take the intake and exhaust off and see if the intake is taller. that will tell you. if you are worried about it you could take the springs to a race shop and have them test the tension or just buy a brand new set. the stiffer spring in most all cases will be taller than stock. and stock is 2.405

I happen to have a set of both off the truck right now. The stock springs are 2.2" and the 60# springs are 2.8" (at least the sets I have right now). Working on uploading a comparison picture.

Ok, sorry it's so blurry. The stock one is on the left, the 60# is on the right. Both of these springs are brand new. I think the shadow makes the 60# spring look wider than it actually is.

Oh wow, there is a big difference in looks, Mine don't look anything like that what so ever.. more like the one on the left, the stocker. Means I gotta order some 60# springs! Im still a little confused on compressing them with the hand, cause mine still don't move that much, would you be able to compress them with your hands and note the differences in compression?

The ones on the right are PACbrake springs. It's not beehive shaped, I think the shadow just makes it look that way. As far as compressing them by hand....yeah...probably not the best way to figure it out. I kinda did it anyway, and it's too close to tell IMO. I think the only way you're going to be 100% sure is to either take them to a place that can test them, or buy some.
