Default 12v doggy after homemade twin turbo kit

96 12v, stock injectors, stock dv's, 0 fuel plate, 19 on timing, hx35/ht3b homemade twins. Truck runs worse then with stock hx35 only, seems doggy. Question is if its under fueled, problem with homeade kit, or any other ideas?

yes definitely under fueled ... pop some dvs and a nice set of stix and you will be set ... your not pushing enough to support the 2 turbos once fuel is upgraded you will be set ... i bet there is no smoking issues either ...

the reason it is WORSE.....

1. more exhaust restriction due to the secondary no longer being the end of the exhaust stream = less exhaust velocity = less turbo spool

2. more intake restriction because the secondary has to draw air through the primary, which won't spool and therefor becomes the restriction.

3. way too much timing for your set-up. You don't have enough fuel energy for that early of a fire. Later timing will actually give more heat to the turbo and wind it up better. Once fuel rate is up, or you run higher rpm's, it'll do you more justice.

4. I'm assuming with a 0 plate you've also cranked the AFC. More pre-boost fuel with all the above disadvantages and you've got a big laggy, smoke dog on your hands.

The solution? All the other posts!
