If my fuel pressure sending unit goes out I'm going to order a new unit but instead of hooking it back up as the fp gauge I'm going to make it my drive pressure gauge. I'll just pick up a different brand of gauge for the fuel pressure.

 

Spend your money right once. genos garage. get autometers. love mine. good quality too. i got the autometer v3 or somthing they're really nice

 

I just got finished dealing with Glowshift. They sent me the wrong product and when I told them, they said I would have to pay for shipping both ways to return it. I told them I would not pay because it was their mistake. They then proceeded to insist that they did not send me the wrong product even though it clearly stated on the package that it was for a different year model than my truck. They refused to cooperate and ignored my e-mail after I sent them proof of their mistake. Do not order form them, they will not stand behind their orders.

 

Hopefully I'll enjoy them when I get them installed but currently my kit is missing the transmission temp sender extension wires to run to the gauge so i'm currently stalled until I get some wiring

 

love my glowshift guages,and they even fixed one of them for free.

 

My Glowshifts gauges have been problem free for about 4 months now. But mine had problems. Boost gauge made annoying an ticking sound, it turned out to be the restricted fitting that screws into the intake manifold. The little hole in it was too big, so they sent me a new one with a pin hole in it. Solved Boost problem. My fuel pressure senders mounted at injection pump kept dying, replaced 4 (Glowshift sent them for free) before making up a 1 ft hose off the pump and screwing in the fp sensor on the end of it. That allows the pressure spikes to be dampened so they dont wreck the POS sensors. No problems with EGT gauge yet... although sometimes it sticks at 300F when cooling before shutdown, just give it a tap and it drops to correct reading. Would not recommend buying these to anyone.

 

I'm runnin auto meter in both trucks .... no chances taken with this kinda cash

 

I have the glow shift egt, trans temp, and boost gauges I bought as a package deal with a pillar on eBay. So far I feel I got what I paid for. Gauges work but they are the selectable colored backlight and I have them wired right but they default back to the purple color every time the truck is cut off an back on and the boost gauge led has gone out completely. Like others have said they are hit and miss. Wish I would not cheaped out and went with a better set

 

Ok my fuel pressure sensor went for the 5th time and since its been a year since I bought my gauges they wont replace it for free anymore. Just finished ordering Isspro fp gauge set. I couldnt bring myself to buy one more of Glowfags shitty products. Ill be slowly converting all 3 of my gauges to Isspro. Im tired of all the hassle over the phone and replacing parts. Glowshift are absolute junk, I highly regret cheaping out and buying them in the first place. It was a good lesson for me to say the least.

 

Isspro or Autometer ... IMHO ... only way to go
