Default Upgrading engine

I've been planning on doing some engine mods after my trans is finally built and thought I would start in this order:

5" turbo back exhaust (overkill but I like the sound Lol)
4k gsk and 60# springs
SDX 5x.012 sticks
12mm studs and o-ringed head
Bigger turbo (not sure what size)

Is this a good order for upgrading in steps? I'm only looking for 400hp so I'm not completly sure if studs and a bigger turbo are actually needed.

Btw, the trans is going to be built with DTT parts and will have a triple disk converter and billet input.

Thanks in advance for any input

Sounds good man. Id maybe suggest bumping the timing, and depending on your needs a bigger turbo isnt a must.

dont need studs or anything done to your head unless you are over 45 psi of boost and you keep your timing moderate. you can get 35ish pounds of reliable boost from a stock turbo.

if you get studs you dont have to replce them each time u blow a head gasket (good insurance) and if u did decide to upgrade more u already have them. 4gsk and #60lb springs is a very good upgrade the rest is your call

I forgot to add timing to the list, I'm planning 16.5*. I'm thinking no matter what it's probably worth the $400 plus machine work for studs. I've heard a lot of good things about the 4k gsk and plan on doing that asap.

Timing definitely makes quite a bit of difference. 16.5 is supposed to be the max on stock studs/gaskets but I have seen plenty of people run a little over that and be okay
