my ignition is shot.. you have to push in super hard to get it to turn over. i was thinkin about a "turn the key to ign then push button to start". i have seen it on the 3rd gen...but has anybody done it on a 2nd gen? anybody know which wire/color to tap? thanks in advance guys

lookin at the wire diag....it shouldnt be hard...looks like power on one BP on the push button and either cut or splice onto the yellow wire in the ignition and i should be good... i dont suppose any body wants to check there manuel to make sure my haynes is correct on the color wire?
