I'm not kidding I really would. reg cabs are not the truck of choice in a hitch to hitch hook[/QUOTE]

he's absolutely right. it all comes down to traction. and automatic trucks have an advantage in bumper to bumper pullin cuz its easier to not spin the tires. plus your reg cab 2nd gen dodge weighs 6800 lbs. the dmax also has a weight advantage. look i'm a diehard cummins fan to the core, but ur gonna lose this one. n hookin chains is really hard on stuff. u-joints, clutch, input shaft, transfer case... ya really wanna break any of that?

oh and on a side note, ya guys might wanna watch ur language...

blazier18 08-10-2011 09:53 PM

ill break it and not worry bout it let me in that truck ill try my hardest lol u ever seen catchin gears in a bumper pull.......me either let me try it lol. do not go to captains house i have money on this thing :c:. ilike cummins but i like money better :)

lodal cummins 08-11-2011 12:12 AM

cummins is the best but will lose as you have no real mods to give u a chance

blazier18 08-11-2011 12:19 AM

maybe u will get lucky and his injectors will go out like the rest of the dmaxes........did i say that? lol

yes they did, his truck is rated at 215 crank HP from the factory

Look at what i said. 185 hp to the wheels. I shouldnt of said that they didnt but the hp from the flywheel to the wheels is always different. My 24v didnt put 200hp to the wheels when it was stock. HP is lost due to gear reduction and blah blah blah. :c:

Between those two trucks yes, the underpowered cummins would lose. The thread says 96 12v vs Duramax. Not Cummins vs. Duramax. It was asked who would win. You are getting our answers based on what we know. There is a 10yr technology difference. Common sense applys here. The main reason i dont like Maxipads is because most of the drivers of them shouldnt be allowed to handle sharp things.

amen to that! there are so many dmax guys that should never have kids! drives me nuts, then everyone sees a duramax and askes "when you gonna put 20's on that thing" or "it needs a stack"! gets old
