I've had Duramaxes, and I have a Cummins now....

I've borrowed friends' Fords.... and they all have their pros and cons..

But considering that my Cummins is a 1995, and my Duramaxes were 01', 03' and 07'...

And my friends have 07' and 08' Powerjokes...

And the fact being that my Duramax would all beat their Fords (not the 01' dually though) and my Cummins would beat them with a bigger difference, where does that put the 12valve ?

For reliability i would take a 12valve any day, just read my sig...

I am a HARD driver, that being... i drive my cars REALLY HARD, and i drive my trucks EVEN HARDER !!!

Duramaxes would regularly see the shop, my Cummins has only seen the shop for oil changes and replacing the old stock clutch...

If something would break, i would have to wait for parts to ship in overseas in the Duramax (this is probably not the case for you guys, being in the states) but i would either fabricate or source it from a junkyard with the Cummins, but nothing has really broke yet.... even with regular burnouts and drifting here and there, the LSD is holding up like a champ, but i had a G80 go Grenade on me TWO TIMES in the 07' !

Most of Powerstroke owners who BASH on a Durmamax have never driven one or had one, same thing goes with Cummins and Duramax guys bashing on the "RIVAL"...

I'm not saying the Powerstroke and Duramaxes are useless, i'm just pointing out... they have their pros and cons, but i would personally push my truck rather than drive a Ford ;)
