Default dumb question

i left my rear drive shaft & t case outside and they got rained on last night and got a lil bit of rust during the night should i worry about that when i go to put them back on my truck

I wouldn't worry about it. If you want to, you could take a rag with wd-40, and wipe it off.

ok thanks i know kinda dumb question but i just got new trans and tc dont wont anything else to have to fix right now

As long as the transfer case didn't get any water in it you should be fine.

No dumb questions. Better safe than sorry. And like South Tx Coal Roller said, I'd only be worried if water got in it.

it actually did but iv drained and refilled and drained again
