Default problems

my son is turning 16 my dad gave him the old farm truck.
a 95 cummins still a nice truck. but we have been having
problems with it. sometimes when your driving it it will just
die. if you stop it might start it might not the it is like u r
holding it to the floor wide open and u shut the key off it
keeps running . till u put it in gear and kill it. any ideas
thanks

fuel shut down soleinoid needs relpaced

should i put a manuel fuel shut down on it?

It would probably be cheaper and more "fail-safe."

Thats what I did on mine, pretty simple to rig up and a lot cheeper than a new soleinoid. but your gonna need to remember the key will not shut the motor off.
