k my dad just bought a 98 12v ext cab shortbed 4x4 5 speed 120000miles (pics coming soon) and weve noticed when we were in trafic when you let the clutch out with no throtle the oil presure gauge drops to zero for about 2 seconds and the "check gauges" indicator comes on i think its fairly normal cause my brothers 98 drw 12 v does the same thing but he has **** gauges in his truck and i never have this issue in my 93 12v just wondering what you guys think

 

Your oil pressure is perfectly fine. The oil sending unit is probably just busted, you see this all the time on 12 valves

x2 with Matt 2 of my 12valves did it a 95,and97oh ya good find on the truck!!!

 

The oil pressure sender should be on the lower drivers of the block if you were looking to change it
