so, ive got a 96 cummins 12v with a p7100 400hp injection pump with a running issue. after doing some testing, ive narrowed it down to the injection pump, cylanders 4 and 5. also swapped the delivery valves with numbers one and two, and no change, still misfired on 4 and 5 after swapping dv's.

so, anyone know of anything that would be causing a running issue?
anyone know of places to find rebuild kits?
places in vermont to send it out to get rebuilt?

my biggest ? is were did u find a 4oo horse p pump is it a 12 cylinder pump did u swap injectors around and try that mayb its not even your pump

 

I just put a set of brand new bosch iinjectors in, and ive run a compressiion test. I know what the problem is. Just need to know where to find parts. BD makes the 400 P-7100

 

i know this is old post but, how did you do your compression test?

dont these 12v's get the blow by test?

what kind of numbers did you get when you did your compression test??
