Default fuel plate profile vs rpm

After looking at all the posted fuel plate profiles I can find, I wonder if anyone here knows the profile vs rpm? I am guessing that the lowest point on the plate is idle, and the highest point is 2500 rpm (stock)? I am planning to grind my own plate but don't have enough info to guide me.

Fuel plates dont determine how high of RPMs your engine will go. Fuel plates determine how much fuel if being put through your pump.

Here is a chart stating power levels a engine is capable of with a certain plate.

If you want to raise your RPM limit you need a governor spring kit.

Sudia, I agree that the fuel plate sets the max fuel rate not the rpm. But if you study the exploded view of the RQV-K governor (there is a nice cutaway view on the Pacbrake site), it is clear that the the nose of the fulcrum lever hits the fuel plate at a different position that depends on rpm. For example if you hit WOT at 1500 rpm, say, the lever hits the fuel plate maybe halfway up. If you hit WOT at 2500 rpm, say, the lever hits the plate maybe close to the top. So the shape of the plate determines the max fuel rate per rpm. (When the lever hits the fuel plate, the rack stops also because it is driven by an extension of the lever) BTW thanks for the links. I was planning to do the 3k GSK in future. First I am going to try modifying the fuel plate since I have a spare stock one from a 215hp. My present pump is a RV type 230/605....
