97 ram 2500 tranny troubles

97 ram 2500 tranny troubles
hi guy's new here and new to diesels. my question is my tranny kicks in and out of lockup and revs like 2200 rpm's at 50-60 mph for a while before it finally starts to lockup then kicks out again. any info will be greatly appreciated.
