I recommend raising the bed it's easier than droppin the tank unless you need new straps anyways. I still got that 2500, could save you some trouble.

You have friends right, 4 guys can easily lift the bed, you can do it either way but ask around and everyone says liftin the bed is the way to go

I agree on lifting the bed....even if you can't take it all the way off, if you can jack it up high enough on the drivers side to stick some wood under there, you can use that to hold up the bed to work on the tank. There's a few tricks to the dd clutch install, if you're interested, let me know, and ill type them out on my computer...
