Default DV replacement

ordered a new set of DV's. the repair manual says to replace the copper delivery valve washer, the new set of DV's only came with the o rings. is this something i NEED? or could it be re-used? every place i've seen only mentions o-rings

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

just found Whit's write up on DV replacement and it explains everything about the o-ring to copper washer difference. incase whit comes by this, Thank you

do yourself a favor use lots of grease.. (i know someone is gunna chime in here and say that im wrong but yet again my truck still makes more hp then theres so i must be doing somthing right) anyways the grease helps when u torgh the dv holders back down (assuming u are torghing them) even if u dont it will halp when u tighten them just like when u buy arp studs it comes with grease and that is why hope that helps u a little

Well you sounded dickish here. But i understand what you are saying the group you normally would laugh and call you on it. Anyway as for advise I'm not sure grease would be a good idea it's sticky and goopy and gets evey were what about new engine oil? I'm learning here so take or leave my thoughts it's up to you.
