Default Emission test ?

So I live in colorado And here your truck gets run on a dyno for the test. I'm wanting to put a set of sdx stage 2 injectors in but I have to be able to pass the test. I currently put the stock plate back in and tune it back down. But I don't want to have to switch injectors every year. So Would a valet switch help me out? If so can I make one by plumbing a small brass valve in, instead of the fancy electric solenoid?. Any other suggestions would be great.

Put the fuel plate all the way back, and set the AFC to be a complete dog. If you make smoke then, I will shake your hand.

Also, make sure your pump/AFC look stock. I know some states check for that.

Well I have 5 inch exhaust with a 6" tip and they clamp a funnel on it to direct the smoke through the opacity meter. Last time I tested it was at 27% opacity. The limit is 35 here and the truck made 167 hp at the wheels according to there dyno. Will the truck even move with the plate all the way back?

Yep pull all the fuel out every year to pass emissions then set it back where you really want it it's only a few hours every year.
