Would a G 360 Getrag 5 speed work in my 98?

the getrag trans are weaker than the nv4500 from all ive read. imo. u would be wasting money putting one in it. u would need everything from flywheell, clutch, and transfer case to make it work

i have seen it done fifth gear almost hits the dash im pretty sure you can keep the tranfercase but you will have to change the input shaft
