i ordered a fan from a salvage yard off of a 96 3500 for 65 bucks, gonna bolt that to a new clutch from the parts store and install my 130$ salvage yard radiator and call it done. drove the truck to the bar tonight and it stayed at 190 degrees the whole way up and back, my bottle radiator stop leek is finally starting to work i guess . at least i know my water pump and t-stat must still be functioning.

Make sure you flush your cooling system and replace that thermostat before you install that new radiator!

yea iv got a bottle of the flush additive... i really wanted to use it and my coolant on the mud truck before this weekend but ill have to keep running water in the mud truck i guess . i really dont think i want to afford a thermostat too, ill see if i can scrounge up yet another 20 bucks towards the dodge.

EDIT: just remembered i get like 20 bucks free at auto zone since iv spend enough money using the rewards card now... guess im getting a thermostat too.

well i got a new thermostat and went ahead and put all my new parts in, the job is pretty much done and i go to install the upper radiator hose and my new used radiator is cracked around where the hose goes on.

i guess im gonna epoxy it back together... i already got my $130 refunded. this sucks, at least the fan i got from another salvage yard was in awesome shape, the radiator, not so much.
