Well, I talked to Peter at South Bend Clutch. He pointed out a very important thing:
Synchros are a wear item. If you put some aggressive friction material like ceramic or feramic on them, they're going to chew on the iron of the gears, and put shavings in your oil, plus the ceramic/feramic/ whatever will also end up in the oil too. Liquid sandpaper. Not good.![Scare](https://www.dieselbombers.com/images/smilies/scare3.gif)
At his suggestion, I called bluementhal companies and talked to Monte there. Monte said to try putting two bottles of friction modifer (like they use in Limited slip differentials) in the oil and see. He claims he's seen it help. I've got an email out to amsoil on this to see what they have to say, since I'm running amsoil lube in the tranny.

how about you explaining how you would see this actually happen! i would love to hear this! and i sure hope you dont work for valair, lemme just let you know how it really works instead of you guessing an missleading people, when you press on the clutch it pushes on the fingers of the pressure plate relieving the pressure off the disks! in no way does the disks move back on the input shaft. sncros slow the gears down for you to put it into gear
