I put a #8 fuel plate, adjustable boost elbow, gauges, and moved the afc all the way forward. More power at low speed, but falls on its face at 2100. Can not make more than 18 lbs of boost. Have not moved smoke screw. Boost elbow put on turbo. Please what am i doing wrong?? Or what am i missing?? Thanks to all here a great site!!!

the stock gov springs defuel around 2100 to 2200 rpm, thats what your feeling.

 

x2 on the gov springs. that'll wake it up alot

 

x3 on gov springs but if you put 4k gov springs in make sure you change your valve springs

 

To add to their suggestions i would say if you dont plan on going with 4k's buy them anyway because eventually you will want them.

 

Is there a how too thread on govorner springs?? Been searching. Have not found yet, but am Very computer illiterate!!! Or an easy way to find??
