well just to clear up things on this topic i am new here and did the conversion on my 89 suburban a few months ago and the side cover was leaking so i decided to tackle in last night! I had to remove the inner fender well fuel filter, throtle brace bracket fuel pump,(not injector pump) and the power stering and vacume just for more room and i got it changed without pulling the injector pump!!! oh boy what a bitch but it ncan be done without the ip being removed!! the plastic cover came off in pieces but i hear thats norm! took 4 hours but its done and no leaks!!
