ok ive been trying to solve this problem for a very long time. basically when it sits for a few hours it starts like crap. it pops and blows white smoke like airs getting into the fuel line... and once its started it runs fine.. heres what ive done to try and solve it... new injectors, all new fuel lines, new fuel tank, lift pump, ofv... i cant think of anything else it could be.... its really anoying... any ideas?

 

i would check the timing to see if it has slipped. just my 2 cents

Do you still have your oem fuel heater? Any leaks that you can see?

 

yeh still the oem fuel heater.... and yes it still leaks around the tank.. its drippin off the bottom of it.... but its a new tank and new lines so??? yeh its def loosing prime... i just dont know how.. i havent replaced the injection lines yet... could the seals on those be bad?

 

Leaking at the fuel heater is a common thing. Lots of guys have taken theirs out.

 

I would check compression

 

how would you by-pass the fuel heater? that kinda sounds like a bad idea when it gets cold out? maybe not... idk.
