this afternoon i turned my truck off and when i came back it wouldnt start. took some time to find the problem but the fuel shut off gets stuck all the way down. if i push up on the pin and let it go of it its fine it just gets jammed or something all the way down. has anyone had this problem and what could it be? it annoying to pop the hood everytime to start it

 

Mine was doing the same thing. I took it off and cleaned it up, then i went to wal-mart and got a bike innertube cut a pice and used tie straps to fasten it back to the shut off. The factory rubber was all cracked up and was getting caught in the spring and jamming it up. The innertube fixed it rite up and I havent had a problem with it ...

also check the two fuses for it if those go bad it can short out the whole solenoid... and lets just say thats not fun when it happens.

 

well it works fine it just gets stuck when i shut it off and wont start until i free it up and than its like normal.

 

that's what mine did got stuck when i shut it off once and it went kaboom
