Default trans leak from pan?

i was just wondering is hat common cuz im talking to a guy about a truck im interested in nd he said built trans a 100k ago but slight trans leak and it only if its sat for about a week then u can see a few drops the truck is a 1994 cummins auto

if the pan not cracked or any thing could just be the seal. any little dirt not cleaned of gasket when putting pan back on can screw you. ask me how i know thats my only experience with the tranni leaking
