mine gets loud around 2 grand but you still hear the hum below that I guess depends on muffler etc I have a hushpower muffler and was considering those that went inside the stacks

if you have a regular cab truck, then get some ear protection. I have a 5 in. turbo back with no muffler to 5 in. stacks. if I have a passenger we have to yell at each other to have a conversation.

My buddys 05 ford with a 12v is loudest around 2100 r's then it queits down a bit. Still loud though. My brother had one 7 in on his 12v thank god he cut it off. Stacks have good tones but they are too loud imo

Haha and mine runs about 2100 at 60-65

Idk I'm still debating on it, we'll see what happens when the money comes around

if you drive alot a stack really gets annoying, mine gets annoying because the automatic transmission in my truck doesent know wether its coming or goin,so it runs high rpms some times and others.

the drone is horrible, really if you want obnoxiously loud just run a straight pipe infront of the rear tire, that is really loud.

just my 2 cents.

thats where it is right now

It comes out right in front of the rear tire, extended cab short bed truck. When I was using the factory dodge exhaust (3" to a 4" tip) you could barely here any drone, but I threw about a 4 foot piece of a 6" stack under there, turning out right in front of the rear wheel, and it increased the drone considerably. Lower rpms and highway speeds its not bad at all, the only time it gets bad is when you're really gettin on it in higher rpms, and it'll throb you ears.

I have an 8 on my 96 with 4" going to it. All straight piped. Its the same as everyone else. About 2 grand its loud as hell and I cant hear the stereo. But cruising down the highway I can barley even hear it. And it sounds amazing with all the windows open. But honestly its all in preference. My truck is an extended cab too so that helps.

I really want to, at least for a little bit, and if its too loud I may just throw a resonator on there. I have my car which is my refined ride, and it makes most of the highway trips, so I don't think excessive loudness will be a problem

Just gotta get around to doin it now. More than likely I'll wait til this summer, when I can start doin some performance stuff to the truck (plate, afc, injectors, turbo, dd clutch), because I really don't want to have a stock truck with a stack. I want them to know this truck means business
