i have one on my 95, its probally been on there 20k+ miles and all i really had for a long time is a single disk billet tc and reprogramming kit and the rest of the trans held up fine, mine is wired up on a relay and **** so that when you step on the brake the trans will come out of lockup

I'm trying to troubleshoot of fix a problem happening on the T/C on my truck.
It just doesn't stay in lockout... and when it tries to get into lockout, the truck kinda grumbles.
If I feather the throttle pedal, it will shift into lockout.
I'm wondering if adding a switch and using the switch only to lockout the T/C when it normally would be would still cause problems on the transmission?
Thanks
