torque converter lockup switch??
 
my friend put a torque converter lockup switch on his 99 24valve and i was wondering if i could do that on my 95 12valve? any answers would be helpfull

i love mine on my 94 but they are rough on the trans

ok thanks. my trans was rebuilt about 5 years ago so hopefully it will be fine if i dont turn it on to much

i have a vb and a billit tc and with my mods the tc lock up switch is nice when flooring it and when going up hill and the tc unlocks and it dont want to shift

You might consider tying in some sort of light to remind you that it is on. It'll stall the truck if you forget.

what does it mean if your trucks stalls, My truck stalls cause I think my t/c is locked all the time. What do I have to replace? Solenoid? tranny relay?

The lock up switches are hard on any tranny, if you have a stock tranny even if its rebuilt be very careful. If you are getting on it or in the power when you lock it up that really puts stress on the trans.
