You have to change both the tail housing and the mainshaft. Do you have a two-wheel that you need to convert. Cause I have a 4x4 trans and need a two wheel.

I bought a four wheel drive one because it was to good of a price to pass, so I know I can always sell in and get my money back.

you need a new output shaft and tailhousing. dont bother, just get a divorced np205 out of an 80s chevy truck, you can get them for about 150-200 bucks and its the toughest transfer case around. if your not familiar with what a divorced transfer case is its just a case that mounts by itself, you run a short drive shaft from the 2wd transmission to the transfer case and then youl need a shorter rear drive shaft and your front drive shaft. the manufacturers came up with this design in the 80s so that they could use 2wd transmission in 2x4s and 4x4s, saved production costs, they work great in mud trucks, solid axle swaps, 2wd to 4x4 conversions, stacking transfer cases, ect.
