What kind of socket do I use? it looks like some kind of 8 point torx

I believe it's a 3/8 hex. Be sure to clean all the dirt around the plug, and on the plug itself.

 

Mine is some sort of torx type socket, I did some searching and it seams that most have a 3/8 hex, but mines different for some reason

mines a torx too... but i couldnt find a torx that would fit.. it was either one size to small or one size too big

 

I bought a set of torx bits and none of them seemed to fit, but then I was looking at the plug and noticed the outside of the plug is hex shaped. So I stuck a cresent wrench on it, that sure made me feel stupid I think it's about 1 1/4" wrench or close to it
