I have had it , I don't have deep pockets , I will be doin this tranny for the third time its twice I have taken the overdrive unit to a local shop and has failed this time wiping out the od direct clutch pack and output bearing , upon further inspection I got 10 disks, 9 steels according to atsg manual its a second design drum , and pressure plate , it has 1 steel that measures .055 and 8 measuring .070 ( is this normal ?)everything in main case looks beautiful , ( would it be ok to replace with proper steels and disks ,and output bearing or am I setting myself up for another failure ???????????
