Default Gov Spring

I found a problem with the gov spring in the 97. It seemed to have worked loose. Has anybody experienced this with theirs? Counld it have been the milage thats on it?

So one side of more loose than the other and you found this out how?

Happened on mine one side was out one click and it reved to the moon until I shut it off.

Unless someone was monkeying around with the springs, it is virtually impossible for the factory setting to either back off or increase.

Just sayin'
