Since im converting my truck to a Nv4500. I thought i would go ahead and check the 5th gear, well the gear is almost out and i was just wondering if anyone had the tools to do so? And ill pay the shipping both ways! Trien to fine someone close to VA! Thanks

are you trying to pull the gear all the way off?

10mm 12 point for 5th housing
deep spindle socket gets the nut off
i pulled it off with a 2 jaw puller once, but used a 3 jaw 2nd time. much easier.

 

im trien to tighten up the nut before it totally falls off
