Default whats wrong here???

i ordered a phatshaft 62/65/14 to replace my blown up hybrid and changed nothing else and i am seeing egts that are 300 degrees higher than with my hybrid

i figured there shouldnt be any heat at all with this turbo compared to my other one but i cant even go wide open for more than 10 seconds before i hit 1300 degrees....

its making the correct 40lbs of boost so i cant figure out whats wrong?

thats odd. my hx40 would topple over the 1600 mark and my phatshaft wont hit over about 1300 or 1350 now.

pretty fast like 10 seconds it will go from 0lbs to 40lbs when it first shifts into overdrive and you put er to the floor... other than that i love the thing i just dont want it to blow my **** up do you think my homeade intake is holding it back? the filter is almost a year old and is paper should i invest in say a s&b intake?

its a big filter from napa and the stock intake tube

and i was makin about 43 peak and about 38 when it leveled off

this cant be right i have stock injectors i couldnt imagine what bigger ones would be like

think it would be smart to throw in a set of 3ks that i have?

ok not tryin to sell the post but with my hx40 with a 14cm housing i cant push it over 1000* with all the fuel im running, it stays around 30psi of boost and the probe is right after the turbo, how come all you guys are so much higher? is it cause of my probe location?
