Do you have your star wheel turned forward? If so, you may try dialing it back about 10-12 clicks. I did this with mine when I put on the Phat Shaft and it made a nice difference. The spooling is different with these than with the hybrid. There is a lot less low end boost than before and it takes a bit to light it, but when you need it, say trying to hold speed on a hill, it's there for you.

Simple answer, you don't have enough fuel, the turbocharger is too big.

idk about the charger being TOO big, its spools nice and quick, just as fast as the stock 12cm housing

mine spools fairly quick but i got 5x.014 injectors in there. it looks like he has stock injectors. i could see it not spooling correctly with stock injectors definitely

hows it too big if it spools quick and has low egts? do i need to be pushing my turbo to its breaking point to be getting the most out of it??? that doesnt make much sense imo, plus it works out good for me if i want to get some more fuel in there i already have some air to spare, i have 5x12s in my truck not the stock ones if you were talking about me

The following was for the original question of this thread.

A turbocharger that is too large can cause excessive EGT's, see it all the time.

the egts are way higher... the charger lights at almost the same rpm maybe 1700 i cant really say i know the rpm but the timing feels the same

but...
i have a another idea i discovered something on my truck today... the gasket for the grid heater has blown out on one side because i have a soot build up on my valve cover would this make my egts higher???
