My 96 says empty after 80 miles, shows 3/4 tank at 150 miles, reads empty till 350 then comes up just a little, fuel light comes on at 450 miles, goes off again at 475, comes on again at 550 and i fill up at 600. Confuses the hell outta people

 

Fill up every 350 miles and don't worry about it is another suggestion

 

mine hasn't worked in like the 5 years I have owned it I just fill up around 380 and one of these days I will get around to replacing the sending unit since its been sitting on my counter for about 6 months.

 

change it you lazy ***
