Default broken gas guage

found out the hard way my gas/fuel gauge dosent work were would i start looking for a problem how would i fix it i perfer not to walk

FUEL GAUGE there all fixed

i had problems with the electrical connections on top of the tank...just a suggestion but you might start there. clean it all up and make sure the connections are good and the wiring back to the dash is in good shape

ill try the wire thing before but if that dosent work were is the sending unit and i drive more veicles in 1 week than a used car lot sells in ten years im lucky i put diesel in the diesels and gas in the gas veicles

I learned that the hard way also but haven't bothered with it yet since I drive my other truck.

my fuel gauge works on full and after 100 miles it stops working any idea what is wrong?
