Default Chemical Injection

I'm looking for some input from the guys injecting chemicals. I'm already pretty familiar with the risk/rewards. But I've never used them on a Cummins before. So I'm looking for input from the guys actually using them and how particular controllers and combos work.

I'm probably gonna start with water/meth through two 500 nozzles on a progressive controller for the street. Then pull the plate and add a 100 shot of NOS on the track. Is anyone running similar setups?

Have you done head studs and o-rings?

If your not o-ringed then you have a recipe for a bit more work by spraying meth or giggle gas.

I have the allen head bolts, but no O-rings. I know I'm at risk, but want to see how far I can push it. The track is only up the street, so if I blow a HG, I'll tow it home and do the studs and O-rings.

Water/meth actually lowers peak cylinder pressure for a given hp. But since there's more hp, the cylinder pressure may still be higher. But it's more like stepping on the piston with a big foot, instead of hitting with a big hammer. Nitrous alone is a killer, but that's as much from the high drive pressures it creates, as it is from cylinder pressure. Water/meth will help keep that in check, plus my wastegate actuator has been modified for more travel and the housing ports are enlarged. Maybe it's all a disaster waiting to happen, or maybe it's just good hp, with low egts. I'm really really curious to find out.
