Default 98 12v touchy throttle

on my dads truck, the throttle is so touchy, it can be a pia to drive. when we got the truck, it idles at 500 rpm. i upped it to around 700. im pretty sure the truck has 4k gsk in it. im thinking bout putting another spring on it to make it stiffer, but idk if that will for sure help or not. when drivng in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd when ever ur accelerating, if ur doing it normal, as soon as u hit the smallest of bumps, it will start bucking, and have to back out of the throttle completly to keep it for bucking, then slowly reapply it. would it have anything to do with maybe the gsk not being tightened enough? or to tight?

the springs might be a little on the tight side, try backing them off 1 click and see if that helps

Spring on the peddle? Please explain further. I had the 4K Kit installed recently and it does the same thing, the horses don't think it's fun when the trailer starts jarring them back and forth like that.

Standards are MUCH more touchy than autos.. and 4k's are MUCH more touchy than 3k's.

they should be a little more touchy, they fuel harder on the low end

might just order a 3k gsk and put in it, that way im 100% sure thats what it has, and not just guessing 3k is all we need for the haul truck then dont have to worry bout valve springs.
