I've seen quite a bit worse, what oil are you running in it? have you thought about maybe tryin amsoil or something just to see if it makes a difference?

amsoil didnt make a difference when i ran it before. currently runnin rotella, bout to run valvoline

it is hard to tell the difference in smell between fuel and oil. if it clears up after its warm maybe it is leaking oil down on top of the pistons at night then burns it off until it is warm. we had a detroit that does this very same thing.

mine does that a little. i think its because of the full cuts. only does it when its cold. like others have said, ive seen worse. if its not burning oil then its probably alright.
