yeah im building my own and having it balanced and with all the up grades gonna have bout 4 grand in it, from balanceing and machine work, 19 to1 marine pistons, custom cam i am having groung that i designed[ 4th one ive had made], new head and o-ringing, 370 bosh injectors, intercooler off of a 6.0 ford, custom pump tweeks and building a hybrid turbo useing an hx35 with the pump housing and impeller off of an 8.3 turbo,.093 injector lines, currently building a header, 4 inch exhust upgrade, flexlite electric fan kit, gonna girdle the mains, use grade 10 allen head bolts, new stock rod bolts and main bolts, block is being bored over .040 now, and waiting on the machine shop, putting the older diesel out of the donar in my truck for the time being so i have something to drive,, LOL

 

That set up should produce, sounds like a lot of fun in store especially when the driving begins!!

 

can i have that? if your going to all that work why arent you just puttin in studs too? but that will be really nice when its done. we better get some pics and vids of this!

 

Thats a little over the top for me but it still sounds awesome, I'm only lookin for around 350 hp and 6-700 ftlbs when mines all done.

 

yeah built the same engine for my buddie 3 years ago and he daily drives it, hauls hay and horse trailers, and drives it to the truck pulls, still gets goot fuel mileage too, figuring its gonna take bout 6 months or so to complete, thats why im gonna put the doner engine in my truck for now, oh and the allen head bolts are still hanging in there after 3 yeary, no head or block replacement, yet either, ,,,, done a lot of trial and error to get to this build specs, espically on the cam,,, has taken bout, 50 trys to get it rite and a bunch of dough,,,LOL, i will get a build tread going and keep it up dated as i go,,this has been a long time comming,,,,
