i have a 95 cummins i put a big cone air filter on , moved the plate ff , the afc ff ,star screw 1/4 way from front an all i seem to be getin is just alitte more power an alot of smoke not much boost so then i pinched the waste gate line an nothin happened , so the i pluged the line an nothin . so is there something im missing ? i cant run with my buddys 96 cummins an he hasnt done nothin to his pump. app. the help

 

check you intercooler boots one or more of them might have a hole in it that could very well be your problem.

 

You should be getting a real good puff of black smoke if you have a hole or cut in a boot.

Do you have a boost guage?

 

yeah i say the same gotta have a boost leak what psi are you runnin

 

tell us your boost gauge psi.

i bet you have a small leak on the passanger side by the intercooler

 

i havent put a gauge on it yet workn on that one. i have a big puff of black smoke then goes alitte blue or white cant really tell .. an if i lug it down u cant see behind it for the smoke.

 

99.5 % sure its probably a torn boot
