so i see you have to drop the back of the oil pan to change the seal?
and it looks like you would have to change the pan gasket also, any news

theres a housing that comes off, thats what the additional gasket is for, and the oil pan bolts to it

i have the lower gasket set, comes with all seal and gaskets on the engine.
my front and rear seal come with the tool to install, if you take your time it is very easy to do.

without the little plastic ring (tool) it is not so easy to line properly and you get a leak from day one. there is also a repair sleeve to do this job as well, this is to the discretion of the mechanic whether it needs it or not, most times if there is nothing wrong with the bottom end, it will not need it.
