new gears for bigger tires?
you could just throw the 37's on and see if you like the 3.54's before you spend money to upgrade
Bobcat67 just snapped his front driveline and cracked his T case pulling a semi out of the mud in 4wd with 3.73s on 40s in a smarty'd/turbo'd commonrail, he does have a lot of torque, but same idea. More stress on driveshaft components when you don't have the reduction in the axles.
You never rode a 10 speed bicycle? Remember the stress on your knees and how difficult it was to get going when starting in 10th gear, versus a lower gear?
The handling is likely going to be more sluggish, too. Due to the flex in the tire; or lateral run out. Just don't weave through traffic until you're used to it.

I'm planning on buying some 37" tires for my 12v, I use it as a daily driver around town to drive to school and work. id say about 50/50 for city and freeway use. I'm building this truck for prerunning as well so I wanted a good gear for prerunning and not to kill me around town. would 4.10 work for me as well? I have 3.55 in the rear as of now.
Thanks Everyone.
