Horsepower is a calculation of torque times rpm. If we are only turning 3200 rpm, a gasser with similar CFM ratings will always make more HP because they are turning 6000 + rpm. The question is, Is it useable? And what is the torque (as
seandonato73 says) at what rpm? I'd like to see a gasser engine make the kind of torque we make at 3200 rpm... They'd be twisting off shafts just like us.
