um its just a 3/8 steel in tank sending unit should i change to something different?

Just curious, as long as it's 3/8 that's good. Is there a filter on it or just the tube? I'm just thinking out loud...

just the tube im with ya i have been trying to think of some thing i missed. im hopen this ofv is the problem
