I got mine straight piped and yeah its loud, but its ok I guess. I'll be going to an MPRP 4" turbo back when I get home so that'll be a nice change.

erik, did you do anything with your exhaust yet? if you're looking for efficiency gains, get a 4" exhaust, it's only a couple hundo and will help you out a lot...especially if you want to get a plate and GSK. the main thing is the 4" downpipe will help your EGT's and spoolup.

but...if you absolutely don't have the money for exhaust right now, at the least straight pipe the cat and muffler with stock size pipe. if you don't like it, put the muffler back on until you get a 4" exhaust.

My 4" exhaust is straight piped and i really love the sound.Not to loud at highway speeds, and it can help improve your milage.

bummer... MBRP mufflers eat up all that sweet turbine sound out of the exhaust note
