diesel fuel in oil pan???
I checked my dip stick at fill up time, like I'm sure most of us do, and discovered my oil level was overflowing and very thin, appearing to be fuel leaking into the crank case from IP. Is this a common issue that can be fixed with a seal on the pump? I immediately drained oil and filled with fresh but now am fearful of driving this until I get it figured out.
Are you idleing for long periods in the cold? Which could cause fuel to wash past the rings.
Could also be a bad injector(s).

Its a 94. It also has really, really bad power. If I am pulling anything it lugs down. I was assuming injectors were the problem for the low power problem, but could they also be the culprit for the fuel in oil? Did I put this question in the wrong forum? Why was it moved?
if its a 94 p pump it should be in the 2nd gen forum.
if an injector is sticking open it will allow fuel to get in there. another problem they have is when the lift pump starts going out it was drop that fuel right in there as well

Most common problem for low power is bad injectors? trucks got 230,000 miles. No pump adjustments. I was content with low power on this truck as it was a backup but now that im finding fuel in oil I will change them out, will also take a look at the lift pump as thats a common thing I should have thought about anyways, thanks for that! Anything else can think of? For some reason I feel theres a shaft seal in IP that separates the fuel from oil, not the case?

Also, no smoke out tail pipe, at all??? Shouldnt there be white smoke if injectors are bad as its not burning?

The crazy thing here is I have an 03 with a 96 12 valve in it and I have the same low power problem, I replaced the Lift pump and it did not solve it. That motor had about 240,000 miles on it. Seems like I need a few sets of injectors?

It's the fuel transfer pump down on the driver's side of the block. It's uncommon, but if the piston seal fails badly enough it can allow fuel to ingress to the crankcase. That, or injectors is about the only way you're getting fuel in there. If the injectors were allowing that much fuel in I think you would be seeing alot of other secondary severe running symptoms, knocking, smoke, etc.
