hope this gets ya started and dont hesitate to ask me question

in all seriousness your ECM might of taken a crap on ya for the controling.... but i would check your TPS and make sure the two plugs that are on that trans are connected and clean.....

does your speedometer work correctly all the time?

first off im assuming that when you say ECM you actually mean PCM because this is on a 12 valve. and ive tried a new pcm still no luck and ive went through most of the wiring and speed sensor on rear end. about the speedo...it works somtimes but here recently when my tranny problem started it hasnt worked at all. so all i can think of is to go ahead and try the toggles. oh and the two plugs on tranny? i checked and cleaned the one on the back end of the tranny so which other one should i be looking for?

its not working cause your speed sensor is bad..... fix it first i bet thats the reason its not working..... because the speedo isnt working the gear is most likely going bad in the transfer case..... go back to it and check to make sure that sensor is plugged in..... if your not getting a speedo reading its bad and thats the reason why the trans aint shifting cause on those it has to read how fast its going to hit OD and LU... replace that gear/sensor there and the trans should be back to normal..... i would try this before doing the switches cause you need a speedo

the plugs that im at are on the driver side of the trans in the center..

first i dont have a t case only 2wd second theres no sensors in the middle of the tranny ...theres a sensor at the tail of the tranny and one in a cooler line running out the front...the one in the line is trans temp and its new and works....i also have been told that the sensor on the top of the rearend is my speed sensor which i have replaced and still no luck with the speedo or the tranny...im guessing that its not the sensor its the speedo itself but i could be wrong.

ok let me do some checking on this...... im use to the 4wd locations due to my truck and not the 2wd..... i will get back to ya on that but if you wanna try the splicing you can and if it doesnt fix it then go and unhook it all..... its not that hard to do....

but i will see bout the speedo cause thats the issue cause the computer is not reading any speed so it wont allow the electronic parts to work (OD and TC)
